High-Definition Leadership specializes in developing programs to help individuals, couples and families discover the secrets to getting exactly what they want from their professional and personal relationships. Founder Heather Duzan, Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, has spent her life studying people and evaluating attitudes and actions that make some relationships extraordinary.
You do not have to look far to see the impact of relationship dysfunction in our world. Relationships are the heart of life — after all, people are everywhere! Relationship success is founded on respect and appreciation of others and the Color Code empowers you to "speak the language" of others by identifying their color or driving core motive. You will build stronger and more meaningful relationships by understanding what drives people and their behavior. High-Definition Leadership applies Duzan's tried-and-true coaching and training techniques through assessing personalities to identify strengths and motives, addressing limiting behaviors such as addiction, clearing the path for growth by identifying biases and prejudices, and teaching effective conflict resolution skills.

Personality Assessment – Discovering Your Greatness
The Color Code
The Color Code is the most revolutionary and accurate measurement of your personality available on the market today. Once you have learned The Color Code, you will never see yourself or others the same again! The Color Code is your best bet for understanding how to make sense out of life's relationship puzzles.
Red = Power
These people are the power wielders. Power, the ability to move from point A to point B and get things done, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of vision and leadership and generally are responsible, decisive, proactive, and assertive. The challenge for Reds: they can be bossy, aggressive, demanding and insensitive. When Reds develop charactered traits such as patience, tolerance and sensitivity they will maximize the cooperative effort of their team.
Blue = Intimacy
These people are the do-gooders. Intimacy, connecting, creating quality relationships and having purpose are what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of quality and service and are generally loyal, sincere, and thoughtful. The challenge for Blues: they can be perfectionistic, hard to please and controlling. When Blues develop charactered traits such as trusting others, appreciation for differences and an even temper, they will enjoy a team that performs effectively, pursuing excellence and a great result.
White = Peace
These people are the peacekeepers. Peace, or the absence of conflict, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of clarity and tolerance and are generally kind, adaptable, good-listeners. The challenge for Whites: they can be unmotivated, uninvolved and indecisive. When Whites develop charactered traits such as confidence, focus and courage to address conflict, they will command a team that enjoys their project and proceeds with less stress and uncertainty.
Yellow = Fun
These people are the fun lovers. Fun, or the joy of doing something just for the sake of doing it, is what motivates and drives these people. They bring great gifts of enthusiasm and optimism and are generally charismatic, spontaneous, and sociable. The challenge for Yellows: they can be impulsive, undisciplined and inconsistent. When Yellows develop charactered traits such as commitment, loyalty and focus, they will inspire and encourage their team to push through limits and thresholds for the highest result.
The Color Code is different from any of the other personality assessment models on the market today. It is the only assessment profile that identifies a core motive. Other popular models determine personality style by behavior. Motive lies beneath behavior and offers a view into why you do what they do versus simply what you do. You can't possibly begin to understand your behavior if you don't know what motivates you!

We want you to know it is possible to let go and allow the wisdom of recovery to help you pave the road to mental, emotional and spiritual healing.
What is Recovery Coaching?
Recovery Coaching is an ongoing professional relationship that helps people who are in or who are considering recovery from addiction. Recovery Coaches do not promote or endorse any single or particular way of achieving or maintaining sobriety, abstinence, or serenity or of reducing suffering from addiction. The focus is on coaching our clients to create and sustain great and meaningful lives.
The Recovery Coaching process recognizes that results are a matter of the client's intentions, choices, and actions taken toward building a strong foundation and creating a life worth staying healthy for, supported by the coach's efforts and application of the coaching process.
How Recovery Coaching Works:
• We design a relationship specific to your needs and goals. For individuals who are actively working a 12 Step program, we are able
to leave the matter of step work to their sponsor – 12 Step programs are free. Coaching is an ''outside help'' resource and greatly
enhances the progress toward a long-term, quality lifestyle based on abstinence.
• Coaching is conducted over the telephone. There are many options and scenarios. Typically, my clients schedule three 45 minute
sessions a month and submit weekly accountability reports via email. We encourage a six month commitment from our clients as
this is the amount of time necessary to see tangible results. Change takes time.
Fees:
Fees are based on the coaching relationship program. We take most credit cards and offer a six-month coaching package with a fee discount.
What You Can Count On:
• We promise to provide an accountability relationship necessary for accelerating progress and providing greater focus and
awareness of choices, actions and responsibility.
• We promise to provide confidential, nonjudgmental, courageous space to help you create clarity in your courses of action and move
you forward. I will listen and contribute observations and questions.
• We promise to provide encouragement and champion your efforts as you seek to restore, rebuild and redefine your treasured
relationships.
Identifying Biases and Prejudices (back to top)
"Bias and prejudice are attitudes to be kept in hand, not attitudes to be avoided." ~ Charles Curtis
We all have our biases and prejudices, which are a tendency or preference towards a particular perspective, ideology or results. Individuals, couples and families who are trying to discover the joy of interpersonal relationship competencies must understand not just biases and prejudices within themselves but within the people they are trying to cultivate winning relationships.
High-Definition Leadership develops training and coaching programs aimed at helping individuals and couples understand their own motivation, biases and prejudices to provide tools to help develop mutually satisfying, healthy relationships with spouses, significant others, family and friends. High-Definition Leadership performs one-on-one analysis with individuals, couples and families to assess and understand where biases and prejudices exist and work with people to step back and understand how to better manage differences.
Research results help guide the development of customized personal coaching programs to:
• Set up win-win situations where there are no win-lose arguments
• Identify thinking that comes from a family of origin cultures
• Recognize that others (through their own biases) see life differently
• Teach appreciation and respect for those differences
• Understand how to refrain from embarrassing others
• Stop complaining and decide to speak five positive, encouraging statements to employees, friends and family each day
• Determine ways to support and encourage your staff

Conflict Resolution (back to top)
"A great leader's courage to fulfill his vision comes from passion, not position." ~John Maxwell, author
There are no winners in arguments. If you create win-lose arguments, you still lose. You might win the argument, but you likely lost a friend. Conflicts in the workplace or in the home are a natural part of life but High-Definition Leadership believes individuals can learn and apply tools and skills to effectively manage conflict in a way that they are resolved to everybody's satisfaction. We provide expertise to set up Conflict Resolution programs for both professional and personal relationships to support a "meeting of the minds" and amicably and agreeably resolve conflicts to everyone's satisfaction.
High-Definition Leadership develops highly customized and personalized conflict resolution programs to teach people to successfully resolve conflicts through:
• Increased understanding – High-Definition Leadership coaches provide input, insight and advice on how individuals, groups and
families can achieve their goals without undermining the people involved.
• Increased group or family unity – Coaching and training services are geared toward teaching individuals or families to develop
stronger mutual respect and enhancing interpersonal skills to help people work together to create win-win situations.
• Improved self awareness – High-Definition Leadership helps individuals and families take a closer examination of their goals
and understand their values and priorities to reshape and refocus how they work together to accomplish mutually agreeable goals.
Refocus, re-prioritize and re-build your relationships to create unity, team work and prevent people from disengaging in the family or work environment.
